KATIE & JOSH

We had an incredibly fun session with Katie & Josh.  We had some pretty hot weather as we have had many of those days for a June in Nebraska--but, then again it can be just about any temperature, any month in Nebraska, right?  We'll do a switcheroo with the temperature when it comes time for their big day in December and be wishing we had warmer weather, I'm sure. ;)  We started out in the Sunken Gardens of Lincoln, Nebraska.  A beautiful place nearly all times of the year to do a photo session.  Even their little Westie got into the posing action as he decided to mark out his spot.  Josh, without hesitation did a recreation pose for a good laugh.  This is when we KNEW this was going to get fun. ;)

We moved on over to the Nebraska State Capital grounds for to catch some of the setting sun rays and right near where Katie teaches school.  

We took a drive over to the incredible University of Nebraska campus at Memorial Stadium.  Nothing says Nebraska better some pictures with a touch of Huskers.  Check out Katie's shirt....perfect for a groom that's a big UNL Huskers fan. ;)

We finished up in the always fabulous Lincoln Haymarket.  SO much going on there---wish we had more time, but the sun faded quickly and those tall buildings hide the sun.  We survived the extreme heat, dodge the predicted storms and now wait for their big date in December when we'll be wishing for the warmer weather again.
